I am in the middle of a post on how the softworld of today travels at the speed of light and has few limits. It is as real as a diesel generator power station backup that is destroyed with this software of bits. America was attacked by Russia, 6 days before our last election. It was not different from our ships sending cruise missiles into Bagdad to take out communications stations. Nothing was done and Homeland Security quietly confirmed this and the infiltration of our Grid and election systems. Using, what we call the IoT or Internet of Things that is a top 5 priority for most tech companies this year. This is a symptom of corporate culture today. I believe only one senior officer left the company due to ethical issues. Of course, nothing like this was said but it was after AT&T went into Mexico and their culture is deeply ingrained in bribes and paying people for regular business services. This payment is and was plainly unethical and a policy of do the “right” thing is a joke. Heads should role. But they won’t.
