It is a shame that most people do not realize all the changes that have happened the last 40 years,subtle changes that go unnoticed. I read the JSJ everyday for 20 years but then they became an opinion source and it left the Economist and NYT. None of the magazines or cable news continued to become show business and we gradually lost the fourth estate that is required for democracy to survive.
