[pI am extremely disappointed in people in America. They are confirming the world’s view that America is not a leader of democracy and is a farce.  Electing a real estate tycoon and reality TV host that tells the truth less than 10% of the time???  There are differences if  you look hard enough.  But that is the problem, isn’t it. Unless you can put together disparate information  and listen well, you just hear the noise from the TV news or radio.  None of them are the same as 20-30 years ago.  They are trying to make money and if that means lying and selling out to the devil, then so be it.  Jackson Browne :”I’m going to be a happy idiot and struggle for the legal tender.(money for those who voted Trump). I am suspicious of the closeness of the last 3 or 4 presidential elections.  The difference is 1 or 2% of the vote!  That makes no sense at all to me. What does,  is a Russian attack by millions of bots of our DNS servers last week and Trump preempting any discussion about a rigged election.  The Democrats, if they have any balls left, should hold a 4 year investigation into this election.  Obama better step up and put somebody on the Supreme Court now!  It is his damn job.  Do it!  Or are you also under the control of Kochs and money.  Or are the aliens coming to save us????

A completely unrealistic assumption to start.  Let’s take my brush with retirement and for the last 6 months or longer I have been receiving flyers about enrolling in MEDICARE!!  OMG!  What the hell are they saying!  Why do I need to know this information …

accountantjokeFASB is probably the most powerful NGO you never heard about.  It is a private, non-profit organization that sets Financial Accounting Standards.  They determine what should be a cost, how it should be recognize on the financial statements.  This also includes accounting for all the financial derivatives, stock compensation, employee benefits, pensions, health care.

For example, it’s rule on recognizing the expected cost of stock options for employees resulted in many companies limiting the grants to senior executives just when it was starting to be expanded and thus giving employees a share of the profits that they generated.  Then the ruled retiree medical plans were hidden massive unfunded liabilities and had to be recognized unless funded. So bye-bye benefits employees.

So what would happen if they had to recognize the cost of air, water, land and waste of making a product.?
