The wealthy and martial have stepped into the light. I just thought that we had gone for so long with bad economic policies that made a tiny group so rich you cannot comprehend it while everyone else has fallen behind with more hours worked that we were finally going to improve things and stop destroying everything. And all the public services, libraries, schools, parks, water, sewers, highways and bridges, dams, national parks and forests and general research have declined at every level of government. It is the bad, voodoo economics or what Galbraith called Innocent Fraud which was incredibly kind. Matt Taibbi called Greenspan the biggest asshole in the whole world.
But everyone thinks they are right. Ok. That does not mean that everyone is right or wrong. A few will be correct. But what is the problem??? Not the cause, the problem. Depends on your experience, doesn’t it? So if you can’t feel empathy, or walk in their shoes, or have never said “by the Grace of God there go I”, you can’t feel and understand the other things that are involved.
My experiences
Frequent experiences with insurance, doctors, hospitals, surgeries, self-employed with excluded pre-conditions. As part of my job, I studied all the countries that had company operations; their health care and pension systems and practices and social security systems in Asia, Europe and the Americans. Government wastes money as a huge bureaucracy. However, there are basic needs that the rest of the world consider for their citizens, whereas, we consider anything that wasn’t paid for in cash or pain and suffering cannot be taken. The work ethic of Protestants. It will make it very hard for America to adjust to the future where machines do more and more of the work. I do not believe the new jobs created will be enough in quantity or financial equivalent. Right now, with the help of the bad economic policies, the gains in productivity have all gone to owners or the capital side. Workers have been ignored, insulted, lied to and keep going down the ladder. If you take this to its completion, there will be the 1% holding all the wealth and the rest will be back to hunting and gathering.
Question is, what will they hunt?
